Guy Nicolucci
Assistant Professor – Film & Television
Guy Nicolucci was one of the original writers on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He has won one Prime-Time Emmy and four Writers Guild of America Awards for his work on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Tonight Show, and numerous Comedy Central Roasts and specials. He’s written for talent as diverse as Martin Short, Mike Tyson, Jason Alexander, Robin Williams, Charlie Sheen, Jeff Ross, Gilbert Gottfried and Snoop Dogg. He has also has written three feature films that have aired on the Lifetime network.
In addition, Nicolucci has written and produced for the Emmy Awards and contributed to National Lampoon, Spy Magazine, the New York Daily News, the New York Post, Entertainment Weekly and New York Magazine.
Nicolucci has taught film and television writing at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University and Loyola Marymount University.
Stuart MacLelland
Professor of Digital Media
Mr. MacLelland has over twenty-seven years professional experience in media production. His broadcast credits include producing and directing 255 episodes of WORLD:COMM, a nationally distributed Public Broadcasting System (PBS) program, and over eighty-five “magazine style” art and culture segments. He has written, produced and directed promotional and marketing programs for clients in the fashion, pharmaceutical, financial services, consumer products and medical industries. Multiple camera and live event production includes award ceremonies, fundraising events, entertainment specials, corporate functions, off-Broadway plays and musicals, concerts, and sporting events.
From 1992 – 2018, he was a faculty member at Brooklyn College where he also served as Department Chair and the Acting Associate Provost for Academic Programs.
As an invited visiting scholar, he has presented applied media aesthetics lectures and demonstrations in Asia at the Beijing Broadcasting Institute, Shanghai University, Communication University of China, Hebei Institute of Communications, and the Korea University of Media Arts.
